All Welcome to the Worcester Young Adult Catholic Ministry! If you are between the ages of 20 and early 30s and are looking for a community of Catholic young adults, we welcome you to our group. Our focus is to be like Mary of Bethany, who sat at the foot of Jesus to listen to Him and follow in His ways. We want to grow in our faith as a community and strive toward becoming Saints. 

Our group consists of three aspects so that we can sit at the foot of Jesus. 

1. Formation: These nights will consist of a guest speaker, usually a priest or a religious person, to discuss a certain topic about our faith. Or we will have small group discussions about a topic with Q&A. 

2. Sacraments: On these nights, we will go to Mass, confession or adoration together. 

3. Fellowship/Social Events: At least once a month, we will have a group social event where we will play bingo or trivia, go to a Woo Sox game, or watch a movie together. These nights will sometimes fall on a weekend!

Each month, we will rotate through these different types of events to grow closer as a community and to God.

Our next event will be on May 6th at Our Lady of Czestochowa (OLC) from 7-9. We will be praying the rosary together than create flower bouquets and cards for our Mothers. We ask that if you wish to make bouquets, that you bring a bouquet of a single flower variety so that everyone can mixed and match their flowers. We will also be making cards for out Mothers. 

On May 13th we will be having Father Peter Bui come to Our Lady of Czestochowa to speak on "The Influence of the Therapeutic Movement on Religion" from 7-9. There will be food and drinks beforehand! 

On May 20th, we will be going to Sacred Heart in Webster to hear Fr. LaRoche speak and have fellowship afterwards.

On May 27th we will be going to St. Mary's in Shrewsbury for Adoration and fellowship afterwards! 

On June 3rd we will be meeting back at OLC from 7 to 9 to read and discuss Ch.4 of the US Catholic Catechism for Adults. You do not have to read any of the previous chapters to participate. 

On June 10th Bridget Kloff will be our guest speaker at OLC from 7 to 9 to talk about "Food for the Hungry Heart for God." There will be food beforehand! 

On June 17th we will be going to Mass together at St. John's in Worcester at 6:15 followed by dinner at Bay State! 

On June 24th join us at Purgatory Chasm at 6:30 to walk the grounds and pray the rosary! Maybe we will even get some ice cream afterwards!! 

On July 1st we will be having an outdoor event. More details and location to be announced 

On July 8th join us at a WooSox game in Worcester! You can buy tickets ahead of time on the WooSox's website or the day off. If you need financial help please contact us. Game starts at 6:45

On July 15th we will be going to St. Joseph's Abbey in Spencer for dinner at Black and White and Compline with the Monks at 7:40

On July 22th join us for Theology on Tap at the White Eagle in Worcester with Father Donato. This will be from 7-9! 

On July 29th join us for ​a party to celebrate the Feast ​Day of Mary of Bethany, the saint we model our group ​on. Location TBA
