Welcome to the Worcester Young Adult Catholic Ministry! If you are between the ages of 20 and early 30s and are looking for a community of Catholic young adults, we welcome you to our group. Our focus is to be like Mary of Bethany, who sat at the foot of Jesus to listen to Him and follow in His ways. We want to grow in our faith as a community and strive toward becoming Saints. 

Our group consists of three aspects so that we can sit at the foot of Jesus. 

1. Formation: These nights will consist of a guest speaker, usually a priest or a religious person, to discuss a certain topic about our faith. Or we will have small group discussions about a topic with Q&A. 

2. Sacraments: On these nights, we will go to Mass, confession or adoration together. 

3. Fellowship/Social Events: At least once a month, we will have a group social event where we will play bingo or trivia, go to a Woo Sox game, or watch a movie together. These nights will sometimes fall on a weekend!

Each month, we will rotate through these different types of events to grow closer as a community and to God.

Our next event on August 5th we will be reading Ch.4 of the US Catechism for Adults. Please bring a printed or digital copy of the reading. We encourage you to read it beforehand! If you have not read the other chapters it is totally okay! We will be at OLC from 7-9.

On August 12th we will be going to St. John's in Worcester for mass at 6:15 followed by dinner at Bay State! 

On August 15th we will be doing a weekend Beach Trip! Please see the WhatsApp group chat for more details! 

On August 19th we will be having outdoor movie event at a group member's home. Please check the WhatsApp for more details. This will start at 7. 

On August 26th we will be going to St. Mary's in Shrewsbury for Adoration, Confession, and Fellowship. This will be from 7-9.
